AFC – Champions League, tips, odds, and Football News
The AFC Champions League is the premier Asian club football competition hosted annually by Asian Football Confederation (AFC). The tournament is contested among the top thirty clubs from top 10 Asian leagues joined with two more clubs qualified through the playoffs. The champions receive an all important spot in the FIFA Club World Cup at the end of the year.
The Asian Football Confederation has long been the representative of the majority of the world’s population, as well as one of the six confederations making up FIFA. With more than 46 Confederation members, this premiership football organisation is responsible for numerous duties, including game improvement (through creating more rules), implementing these rules, drafting the game, and coordinating major football events throughout Asia. This places of a lot of stress on the Qatar president of the Asian Football Confederation: Mohamed bin Hammam.
Soccer betting with the AFC – Champions League:
Unlike other premiership football leagues, the AFC runs not only five different Men’s tournaments, but also four youth tournaments and two women’s tournaments. Surprisingly enough there are huge turnouts in soccer betting as far as the youth leagues are concerned, as this is where many opportunists go to scout out future odds and talents as they rise through their early years as professional football players. The trends that are shown in these younger leagues usually carry over into the actual Champions League.
As if all this praise wasn’t enough, recent news has revealed that the Asian Football Confederation has recently revamped its policies. This revision has won the approval of the coach of the previous winning team, the Pohang Steelers. Coach Sergio Farias stated that the AFC continually provided “some games [that] were very demanding technically,” meaning that the precise issues of time, place, and execution had far outdone the expectations of the coach. He even compared the premiership football league’s performance with that of FIFA, which is quite a prestigious claim indeed.
This year, they have just recently completed a Women’s tournament, and are currently running a youth grid as well as a men’s champions league-level tournament as a precursor to the FIFA 2010 World Cup to be held in South Africa. The teams are all ecstatic and supportive, but fans have explained that, on the field, they show the utmost team loyalty and are fierce contenders until the final whistle is blown. Representing half of the world’s football population is a big duty, and as such, enthusiasm and energy are at their peak during every game. After all, the fans must be given what they come to the games for!
